Description

t-Boc-N-amido-PEG-Succinimidyl Carbonate, MW 2,000 is a PEG linker containing a Boc-protected primary amine and a succinimidyl carbonate. The carbonate is a good leaving group, being easily substituted by nucleophiles such as amines and alcohols. The Boc group can be deprotected by acidic conditions, which frees the amine to react with functional groups such as carboxylic acids, aldehydes and ketones.
