OPSS-PEG-NHS has two different activation terminal groups. Heterobifunctionalized PEG derivatives are used in cell culture, pharmaceutical research, drug delivery and release, nanotechnology and new materials. Heterobifunctional PEG can be attached to different molecules or materials to extend the richness of different molecular combinations. It is a widely used drug crosslinker. Drug PEG modification can alter its dispersion and solubility in aqueous solutions.
