Azide-PEG-Amine with two different activated terminal groups. The reactive azide (N3) is used for PEGylation via a click chemistry reaction. Heterobifunctionalized PEG derivatives are used in cell culture, pharmaceutical research, drug delivery and release, nanotechnology and new materials. Heterobifunctional groups can be attached to different molecules or materials to extend the richness of different molecular combinations. Azide-PEG-Amine is prone to click chemical reaction, and it is easy to form a peptide bond with a carboxyl group.
