Synonyms: Four-Arm PEG-Dibenzocycolctyne

Four-Arm PEG-Dibenzocycolctyne (4-Arm PEG-DBCO) is a multiarm PEG derivative with dibenzocycolctyne groups at each terminal of the four arms connected to one pentaerythritol core. It is usually a viscous liquid or solid powder, depending on the molecular weight. It can be stored for a long time at -20 ℃. Four arm polyethylene glycol derivatives have a variety of active groups that can be used to modify proteins, peptides and other materials through their functional groups. DBCO has high thermal stability and specific reaction activity to azide group through strain promoted click reaction without catalyst. The high chemical selectivity azide and dbco group do not react or interfere with other functional groups found in biological samples, but are highly effective in binding. Hydrophilic PEG spacer-reduces aggregation, minimizes space barriers, and increases solubility.
