Product Information

Description mPEG-Acrylamide has an acrylate group that can be used for radical initiator or UV light induced polymerization. It is often used to prepare PEG hydrogel. It is a reactive PEG derivative that can be used to modify proteins, peptides and other materials via available acrylic groups. It is also a polymerizable PEG that can form biocompatible hydrogel. PEGylation can increase solubility and stability and reduce immunogenicity of peptides and proteins. It can also suppress the non-specific binding of charged molecules to the modified surfaces.

Solubility Soluble in water and most organic solvents, freshly prepared before use.
Storage -20°C for long-term preservation, keep in dry and avoid sunlight. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
