Synonyms: Four-Arm polyethylene glycol-Methacrylate; Four-Arm PEG-Methacrylate

Four-Arm polyethylene glycol-Methacrylate (4-Arm PEG-Methacrylate) is a multi arm peg derivative, which has methacrylate groups at each end of the four arms connected to a core. It is a white solid or sticky liquid, depending on its molecular weight. It is soluble in most organic solvents and has good solubility in water. It needs to be dried at -20℃ away from light and stored for a long time. Methacrylate has carbonyl group, ester group and other functional groups, which are conducive to functional group reaction. It provides support for ligand research, peptide synthesis support, grafting of polymer compounds, new materials and functional coatings modified by polyethylene glycol. It is widely used in medical research, drug delivery, nanotechnology and new materials research, and cell culture.
