DSPE-hydrazone-mPEG 2K
DSPE-hydrazone-mPEG2K is a phospholipid polyPEG with a hydrazone group which can self-assemble to form lipid bilayer in aqueous solution. The polymer can be used to prepare liposome as a drug delivery vehicle for administration of drugs or nutrients, such as mRNA vaccines. Hydrazone linkages are useful for coupling drugs to targeted antibodies where the linkage is stable at neutral pH, but is rapidly destroyed in the acidic environment of lysosomes of the cell.
