Amino-PEG-t-butyl ester, MW 1,000 is a linear heterobifunctional PEG reagent with one amine and one tert-butyl ester group. The amine is reactive with an NHS ester or with a carboxyl in the presence of activator, such as HATU or EDC. The tert-butyl ester group can be hydrolyzed under acidic/basic condition.
