Description	DSPE-PEG-Biotin sodium salt is a heterobifunctional PEGylated phospholipid consisting of a DSPE lipid anchor, a PEG spacer, and a biotin functional group, with the phosphate group present as a sodium salt. The DSPE moiety anchors into lipid bilayers, the PEG chain provides stealth properties and extends circulation half-life, while the biotin group enables specific binding to streptavidin/avidin conjugates. It is widely used for liposome and lipid nanoparticle surface functionalization, targeted drug delivery, and bioconjugation applications. The compound allows post-insertion of streptavidin-conjugated targeting ligands, antibodies, or imaging agents into preformed liposomes, facilitating the preparation of immunoliposomes and targeted nanocarriers for cancer therapy and diagnostic imaging.
