DSPE-Alkyne
DSPE-Alkyne is a phospholipid compound with two 18-carbon lipid tails and a phosphate head joined by a glycerol molecule. The molecule can self-assemble in water to form lipid bilayer with hydrophobic tails facing the inner area an d hydrophilic head facing outward interacting with water. The compound can be used to prepare nanoparticles or liposomes for drug nanocarrier to deliver therapeutics, such as mRNA/DNA vaccine. The alkyne group enables click reaction with azido molecule in the presence of Cu catalyst. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.
