Aminated polyethylene glycol derivatives (mPEG-NH2) can be used to modify proteins, peptides, antibodies, enzymes, particles, biomedical devices and other active groups with carboxyl (-COOH) or other reactive groups that can react with primary amines Materials and small molecules. Amino groups can easily form stable amide bonds with carboxyl groups, and can also form amide bonds with active esters (-NHS) at pH 7-8.5. In buffered aqueous solutions or organic solvents, methoxy polyethylene glycol amine can easily react with active esters, carboxylic acids, aldehydes, and other functional groups that are easy to react with amines. Polyethylene glycol can increase solubility and stability, and reduce the immunogenicity of peptides and proteins.
