mPEG-Cl

Cat. No. Product Name CAS No.
BPG-0081 mPEG-Chloride, MW 550-40k Inquiry

Synonyms: Methoxy-PEG-Cl; Methoxy polyethylene glycol-Cl; Methoxy-PEG-Chloride; Methoxy polyethylene glycol-Chloride

mPEG-Cl and mPEG-Br are similar in structure and performance. They are linear methoxy polyethylene glycol reagents and unilaterally active PEG derivatives. PEG (polyethylene glycol chloride) can increase the stability and solubility of biomolecules, reduce the non-specific binding of charged molecules on the surface and reduce immunogenicity. Therefore, mPEG-Cl is often used in medical research, sustained release of drug properties, research on new nanomaterials, cell culture, ligand research, polyethylene glycol modified functional coating and other fields. It needs to be stored dry below -20℃. Long-term storage is inert (argon or nitrogen) protection. When taking it, keep it at low temperature and dry, and prepare it for immediate use to avoid frequent freezing and thawing causing product inactivation.
