This product is a monomethoxy polyethylene glycol (mPEG) modifier whose hydroxyl terminal is activated to succinimidyl succinate. It can react with the free amino group of the active drug to bond with it, and has high reactivity. However, the ester bond connected to the PEG backbone is easily broken and hydrolyzed under strong alkali or strong acid conditions, which reduces the content of active groups.
