Methoxy polyethylene glycol-pyrene (mPEG-Pyrene) is a derivative of PEG pyrene. It is a white solid powder, soluble in dichloromethane and chloroform, and needs to be stored at -20 degrees Celsius. Its main application mainly through strong between pyrene (close to the irreversible) - PI PI accumulation, make its can be used for carbon nanotube (CNT), graphene and graphene oxide (GO), reduction of graphene oxide (rGO) on the surface of faculties, in addition, methoxy polyethylene glycol (peg)-pyrene can also be applied to other carbon particle surface, the curvature can be cooperate with pyrene structure very well, is a kind of excellent surface modification reagent.
