mPEG-GA (Glutaric Acid) can increase the solubility and stability of the drug, reduce the immunogenicity of peptides and proteins, and inhibit the non-specific binding of charged molecules on the modified surface. The carboxyl group of mPEG-GA can not only form an ester bond with the hydroxyl group in the biomolecule, but also undergo amidation reaction with the amino group in molecules such as lysine in the environment of PH=7-8, which is more stable than the active ester group. These characteristics enable mPEG-GA to be used in many fields, such as polymer grafted compounds, new nanomaterials, pharmaceutical release, medical research, biological macromolecules and so on. mPEG-GA should be stored in an inert gas (nitrogen or argon), and it also needs to be sealed, dry, protected from light, and the temperature is not higher than -20℃.
