Methoxy-PEG-Acrylamide (mPEG-ACA) is a linear monofunctional PEG with an acrylamide group, which can be used as a free radical initiator, UV light-induced polymerization and prepolymerized PEG hydrogels. Acrylamide can modify proteins, peptides and other materials, and form hydrogels. PEG modification helps improve solubility and stability, and reduce the immunogenicity of proteins and peptides, which also inhibit the non-specific binding of charged molecules on the modified surface. Instead of the ester bond in mPEG-AC, mPEG-ACA has a more stable amide linker. It is soluble in most organic solvents (dichloromethane has good solubility) and water; it can be stored for a long time at -20℃. It must be dry when taken, and avoid frequent dissolution and lyophilization.
