It is usually solid, soluble in organic solvents and water, and can be stored for a long time at -20℃. It is easy to form stable thioether bond with sulfhydryl group in pH 6.5-7.5. It is an excellent surface modification material. Eight arm polyethylene glycol derivatives have a variety of active groups and can be used to modify a variety of materials.
