4-Arm PEG-MAL

Four-Arm polyethylene glycol-Maleimide (4-Arm PEG-MAL) is a multi arm peg derivative, which has maleimide groups at each end of the four arms connected to a core. It is usually viscous or solid, soluble in organic solvents and water, and can be stored for a long time at -20℃. It can be used to modify proteins, peptides and other materials or small molecules containing sulfhydryl groups. It is easy to form stable thioether bond with sulfhydryl group in pH 6.5-7.5. It is an excellent surface modification material. It can modify a variety of drugs, such as protein drugs, peptide compounds, organic small molecule drugs and so on. Similarly, it is also widely used in PEG modification of biological nanomaterials.
