Description 1,2-Di-O-tetradecyl-rac-glycerol is a hydrophobic compound that has been found to occure naturally in the body. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups. It has been shown to inhibit folic acid metabolism, and can be used as an immunoregulator in vitro.
