Description
PEGylated hyaluronic acid (PEG-HA) has good cytocompatibility. PEG-HA is a biodegradable macromolecule. Nanocarriers based on PEGylated HA can be used to targeted cancer therapy. Hyaluronic acid distributed in tissues, joints, and membrane structures in living organisms. As marker for certain cancers HA has therapeutic effect for certain diseases. Derivatives of HA coupled with PEG can be applied to the surface modification of drugs and materials. Different molecular weights of HA and PEG may have different application conditions in the modification reaction after coupling.
