The polyethylene glycol and polylysine are coupled to form a degradable high molecular organic compound. Plys is rich in cations and has good membrane permeability. Based on this property, Plys can be used as a carrier for certain drugs, so it is widely used in medical and pharmaceutical applications. A variety of reactive groups in Plys-PEG derivatives are capable of undergoing cross-linking reactions with different molecules.
