Synonyms: CLS-PEG-DBCO; Cholesterol-PEG-Dibenzocycolctyne
The two ends of the CLS-PEG-DBCO molecular chain are dibenzocyclooctyne and cholesterol, respectively. It is a reactive, lipophilic cholesterol, PEG.CLS-PEG-DBCO can react with azide groups in aqueous solution through so-called copper-free Click chemistry. It has good water solubility and excellent reactivity. At the same time, CLS-PEG-DBCO can also be used to make liposomes to reduce the cycle time of encapsulated drugs, or for non-viral transfection reagents. CLS-PEG-DBCO is used in cell culture, drug research, drug delivery and release, nanotechnology and new materials. It can be attached to different molecules or materials to extend the richness of different molecular combinations.
